Julie Geiman teaches private students, is an active Music Minister at St. Joseph Church Cold Spring, and is the PPT Music Enrichment Instructor at Notre Dame Academy. She has performed with the Cincinnati Metropolitan Orchestra since their debut concert season in 1996. Other performances include percussionist with the Brass Fellowship, Giving Glory Contemporary Music Group, Howard Bloemker Orchestra, Seven Hills Sinfonietta, Cincinnati Music Theatre, Showboat Majestic, Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, Musical Gift Tour and various local events. Julie completed her Bachelor of Music Education from Mount St. Joseph University and her Masters in Secondary School Counseling from Xavier University. She studied percussion under the direction of John Gardner. Julie believes we should each share our gifts and talents with others, learn something new daily and not be afraid to take chances musically. “Let us choose to embrace God’s greatness, energy, and power through the power of music. Through music, we can reach the soul. Let our souls speak and in turn, we can speak to everyone.”
