Lent Reading Challenge 2017

A common practice for most Christians during the season of Lent is to give something up or take something on, all with the purpose of drawing oneself closer to God. This Lent we are challenging everyone to read the first 4 books of the New Testament, commonly referred to as the “Gospels”. These 4 books will take you through the life and death of Jesus–a perfect way to prepare ourselves for Easter Sunday, when we celebrate the resurrection of Christ.

Below is a reading guide to help you on your way. If you fall behind, that’s okay! Sundays are already built in as “catch up” days.  We hope you enjoy this reading plan and find it useful.

May God’s word bless your heart through these 40 days of Lent.
