PURPOSE: Immanuel's Vision for Missions is one of both giving and involvement. The Serving Ministry team will promote this vision by encouraging all Immanuel members to fulfill their need to give of their time, talents, and money. The team will also actively seek opportunities for mission involvement by Immanuel members within the local and global community and provide a foundation for Immanuel church members to volunteer for service and will serve as a facilitator for funding the mission work of the church. |
Immanuel United Methodist Church supports a variety of mission projects that help meet the needs of people not only within our community, but also around the world. This is in keeping with the theme of the founder of Methodism, John Wesley, who firmly believed, "The world is our parish."
Our web site offers an introduction to many of the mission and outreach opportunities sponsored or supported by Immanuel as well as a description of some of the ways in which you can get involved.
