Samuel Stahl joined the staff of Immanuel in August 1998, and currently serves Communications and Technology Specialist. Samuel (Sam) provides support for media and technology troughout our campuses, as well as the editor for our website and Newsletter, The Steeple. Sam also assists the custodial staff with logistics and other duties, as needed.

Samuel currently handles the church website along with many of the additional technical skills needed throughout the building by staff and church ministries. Sam also serves as a member of the Celebration Ministry Team as well as Church Council.

Samuel holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. While at Bloomsburg, Sam served on the University Program Board, Community Student Government Association, Community Arts Council as well as student representative to the Protestant Campus Committee Executive Steering Committee. Sam served the university and local community in many various activities, earning the prestigious 1995 Bloomsburg University Service Key. His love and joy in sharing the God given gift of music fueled his participation in the University/ Community Symphony Orchestra, Maroon and Gold Concert and Marching Bands, Bloomsburg University Concert Choir, and the Husky Singers.

The Boy Scouts of America is another passion of Sam's. He served in various management positions within the National Supply Division for four years before joining the staff at Immanuel. He earned the rank of Life Scout and holds or has held various volunteer positions, such as Asst. Scoutmaster, Cubmaster, Unit Commissioner, Asst. District Commissioner in both Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Sam currently serves at the Chartered Organization Representative to Immanuel's Cub Scout Pack.

Samuel, a native of Watsontown, PA was married in June 2002, to the lovely Teresa Pope, whom he met in ministry here at Immanuel. Samuel spends much of his free time enjoying movies at home with his wife, following Bloomsburg University and Penn State athletics, and working on his computer, talking with their many friends involved in ministry and Scouting throughout the country and the world.
