Welcome to Immanuel!

Immanuel offers many worship styles at many locations at many times. If you are new to the community or seeking a service and worship experience, Immanuel offers many opportunities in diverse settings that meet you where you are in your worshipping style.

Step 1: Choose your preferred worship style.
Step 2: Choose your location
Step 3: Choose available times

Step 1: Worship Style
Traditional -- a structured service with congregational hymns, choir, pipe organ and pastoral sermon. There are three traditional services -- Lakeside Campus at 9:30 and 11 AM and the New Hope Campus at 11 AM
Contemporary -- a lively service with praise music and more free-flowing worship. The XALT worship experience in Lakeside's Wesley Hall at 9:30 is one service and the 11 AM Service at the Grace Site at 5th and Greenup in Covington is another contemporary service.
Chapel -- a small, intimate service with communion weekly at Lakeside Chapel at 8:00 AM
Hispanic -- a highly energized service in Spanish at Lakeside in the Chapel at 11 AM
Kids Own Worship -- worship just for children that engages their imagination and channels their energy at 11 AM in Lakeside's Children's Hall.
Youth Explosion --- personal growth for youth Sunday evening at Lakeside Campus at 6:30 PM (Grace Youth and Lakeside Youth)

Step Two: Location
Once you decide on the location to visit (many members of the Immanuel congregation attend more than one worship experience at more than one location) you can pick a style of worship:
On Sunday: If your first visit to Immanuel is on Sunday for worship, then you can worship at the main Immanuel location in Lakeside Park, the Grace Congregation in Covington or New Hope Congregation in Southgate. Links further down easily show you where these campuses are located.

Step Three: Time:

8 AM Chapel Immanuel
9:30 AM Traditional Immanuel
9:30 AM Contemporary Immanuel
11 AM Traditional New Hope

11 AM Contemporary Grace

 During the week:
For many people, their Immanuel experience occurs during the week. A quick look at the calendar shows that the Immanuel locations are busy from early in the morning to late at night. Keeping track of all the groups, including community groups, requires a calendaring system that is easily accessible and directs new persons to Immanuel as well as long time members to their meetings and groups.

Meetings range from early morning Bible Studies to groups of volunteers organized for specific service projects. It also includes support groups that meet the needs for outreach and support.

Wesley Night Dinners (6 PM on Wednesday at Immanuels) are an excellent way to meet others, enjoy a brief and varied program and still make a 7 PM meeting. September to late April, Wesley Night is an event for the single person or family.

Parking and Entry
Immanuel-- there are over 300 parking spaces behind the church. Fourteen handicapped spaces  are immediately adjacent to the building. Access  to the building is from many points --- the lower level entrance that leads to the Children's Welcome area; the entrances along Arcadia that lead to the main sanctuary; or stairs/elevator from the lower level that lead to Wesley Fellowship Hall, the Chapel or the main sanctuary.

Grace -- as an urban campus, Grace has 10 spaces behind the sanctuary; most people simply park on the street or in the parking deck just half block west of the campus on 5th Street.  For Sunday morning activities, entry is through the main entrance on Greenup Street.

New Hope -- at New Hope, there are 10 parking places with some reserved handicapped spaces adjacent to the building.  Most people find easy and convenient parking on the streets around New Hope Campus. Entry is readily apparent through the main entrance.  New Hope also has an elevator for persons needing assistance.
