The Immanuel School of the Arts opened in 2006 as an outgrowth of the highly successful Immanuel School of Music. The school is now serving the Northern Kentucky Community at three locations: Immanuel United Methodist Church in Lakeside Park, the New Hope UMC in Southgate, and the Grace Community Church in Covington. Our commitment to providing first class arts education is exemplified by our Mission Statement:

Celebrating the transforming presence of Jesus Christ, Immanuel School of the Arts provides exceptional music and arts education to the Northern Kentucky Community. In an environment of Christian nurturing, all students are encouraged to grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally and artistically.

How do we accomplish our mission?

  • instructors are highly qualified educators, performers and artists
  • instruction for students of all ages and abilities
  • private and group instruction available
  • students participate regularly in studio recitals, concerts, and exhibits
Because of our commitment to the Northern Kentucky community, scholarships are available to those who need them. Scholarships may be applied for, and will be awarded after the needs are reviewed by our staff.

Our classes are strategically located. Each resides in an existing United  Methodist Church, which is affiliated with Immanuel United Methodist Church. These locations allow us to serve several segments of the community, each with different needs.

The School of the Arts is comprised of separate schools; The School of Music and the School of Art and Drawing. The Covington Children's Choir is part of the School of Music, but represents a unique endeavor to provide the children of Covington the opportunity to learn and perform music, in an atmosphere of team work and encouragement. The rehearsal and performance schedule is available on the Covington Children's Choir web page.

To learn more about each of these schools just click on the links below.  Please watch in the future for more information about all of the schools and what they have to offer.
