Young Rembrandts uniquely combines what children need to learn with what they love to draw. Drawing is a learnable skill!

Immanuel School of Art & Drawing
The School of Art and Drawing began in 2006 with the highly successful Young Rembrandts classes. These classes which we currently offer through The Young Rembrandts organization, are for children from kindergarten through eighth grade. In addition to Young Rembrandts, in the future we plan to expand the number of classes to include many other art forms such as watercolor, oils, and pastels for all ages. Please continue to check this website for class availability and tuition information. Please contact us at any time if you have any questions or comments.
Vacation theme - We will finish the summer by exploring vacations as we talk about the many places we have seen. Our vacation themed lessons take us on many journeys. We will draw a variety of images that help us build essential skills. These items include: a tent to camp in, shells from the beach, a picnic to nibble on, even a mermaid from the deep parts of the ocean, and more. Our drawings help us recall favorite stories, and even create new ones.
We will be water logged with fun as we draw original characters and scenes with props connected to the sea. We will learn to observe key shapes in all of the fun characters and prop drawings. We will also learn to draw expressions on our unique characters .... we will draw a HAPPY STARFISH, a FREAKED OUT FISH, and a PANICKED FISH. Each day we learn new characters, then on the final day, we will combine them into one large scene to create a masterful drawing.
