The choir was founded in 2006 as a outreach to the Covington community in an effort to provide quality music training to the children of Covington. Membership in the choir is free. Children from grades 2-8 may audition at any time by contacting the director. The success of the choir has been the result of a cooperative effort between the director, the parents, and several volunteers from Immanuel United Methodist Church.  Rehearsals are on Wednesdays 7 - 8 pm at the Parish House of the Grace Community Church at 5th & Greenup streets in Covington.

The Covington Children's Choir sang at several venues in 2006 - 2007 including The KnowledgeWorks Foundation in Cincinnati, and the Kentucky Conference of the United Methodist Church in Louisville.

The  Choir leaves for Louisville.
It is an honor to be asked to sing at annual conference, especially at the closing services.

To an audience of 4,000 people, the choir sang with great joy and enthusiasm and was accorded a standing ovation. We were really happy we could add to the final service in a way that uplifted and enthused those who heard us.

Just chillin' out and waitin' to sing!
